Guest-capacity bands for 296 named listings, with the limits of maximum-capacity figures explained.
296 of 300 eligible listings have a retained guest figure. A maximum tells you little about how a room feels with fewer people. Ask for the seated dinner, ceremony and wet-weather capacities separately.
Try the layout before the number
For a 60-person wedding, do not assume that every 200-capacity hall will feel intimate. Ask for a floor plan at your actual guest count, including a dance floor, service aisles and any stage.

Sources, dates & method
296 retained capacity figures, missing capacities excluded. Source wording may mix seated and standing arrangements. No availability or minimum spend is inferred.
Venue facts recorded 28 September 2026, with identified official-source corrections dated 4 October. Figures describe this collection, not the whole French market. These are advertised starting figures with different inclusions and hire lengths. They are not paid prices, current quotations, per-person rates or complete wedding budgets. Original listing names and observation dates are retained on the linked venue pages. Source URLs remain in the private evidence archive.
