Where these figures come from & how we choose months

NASA POWER modelled area climatology, January 2001–December 2020, retrieved 28 September 2026. This is historical climate guidance, not a forecast or a measurement at the venue. The area query is centred at 43.000° N, 2.500° E; the meteorological grid is about 0.5° × 0.625°. Elevation, coast and local shelter can change conditions substantially.

We select the three months with the lowest score: distance of the monthly mean from 20°C, plus twice the average daily precipitation in millimetres. This is an editorial preference for mild, relatively dry conditions, not an official wedding-season rating. Monthly precipitation is mean mm/day multiplied by calendar days, using 28 for February. Always plan an indoor alternative.
