A setting can take your breath away. The right questions help you see how your day will actually feel.
Start with the guest list.
Decide who joins the ceremony, dinner and evening celebrations. Ask for capacities for each space and layout, including the indoor alternative. A headline capacity may describe a standing reception rather than a seated dinner.
Give the whole weekend a home.
Check how many people can sleep on site, which nights are included and where everyone else could stay. Ask about arrival times, breakfast, accessible rooms and a transport plan for the return journey.
Let the season be a conversation.
Ask the venue for photographs from the month you have in mind. Discuss shade, heating, sheltered spaces and the plan if it rains. Local weather varies, and this collection does not yet have verified climate averages for each venue.
Compare what the price includes.
Request an itemised proposal covering hire duration, accommodation, catering, furniture, cleaning and any required suppliers. A recorded starting price is a useful question to ask about, not a complete wedding budget.
