A single France-wide peak hides local differences. Regions with cities, coasts or mountain resorts can have different seasonal patterns. These statistical boundaries also differ from Rare Venues destination collections.

Use the pattern to plan when to ask nearby hotels for group arrangements. It is not evidence of a price premium or proof that a venue will be busy.

Sources, dates & method

Existing R2 projection of Eurostat tour_occ_nin2m, 2025. Full-year regional totals; peak selected from 12 observed months. The local projection uses NUTS statistical regions and is not joined to individual hotels.
